EASY VEGGIE DHAL


Ingredients

1 onion, chopped
2 large garlic cloves, crushed
1 green chilli, chopped
1 carrot, peeled and grated
1 potato chopped
1 cup chopped beans
1 cup frozen peas
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
2 tablespoons water
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon mild curry powder
2 teaspoons black mustard seeds
1 large tomato, chopped
2 tablespoons chopped fresh coriander
1 cup boiled and smashed moong dhal
1 patta
1 lavang




PROCEDURE

Boil the moong dhal with water ,turmeric and smash it thoroughly.
Keep it aside.
Take a pan add oil ,jeera, patta ,lavang,mustard seeds,curry powder, chopped onions ,garlic and chilly cloves
Fry till the onion changes its colour add vegetables one by one add salt cover the pan and wait till all the vegetables get boiled.
After this add the smashed moong dhal and wait till it becomes thick garnish with celantro.
