PUDHINA RASAM

INGREDIENTS

1 small cup pudhina or mint leaves
boiled toor dhal
tamarind one small lemon sized
readymade rasam powder 1 spoon
mustard seeds
pepper
ghee
jeera
asafoetida
coriander and curry leaves
salt
dhaniya powder
pepper
2 to 3 red chillies.
1 chopped tomato

PROCEDURE
Take a pan fry the  chopped pudhina with little oil and keep it seperately.
In the same pan pour  some ghee add mustard ,curry leaves, jeera ,asafoetida and tomatoes.
Now add the tamarind water turmeric powder and allow it to boil for 5 mins.
In a separate mixie jar add some ready made rasam powder, dhaniya powder,pepper, jeera, curry leaves, salt and the red chillies.
Make a wet paste out of these ingredients.
Now add this wet paste into the boiling tamarind water.
Let it boil for another 5 to 6 mins.
After that add the boiled toor dhal water and pudhina leaves and allow it to boil.
once the orange layer forms all over the cooking pan switch off the flame.
Garnish it with some celantro.
Now your pudhina rasam or mint rasam is ready.........
