TOMATO ONION KADALAPARRUPU CHUTNEY

INGREDIENTS
1 Tomato
1 onion
2 to 3 dry red chillies
salt
kadalaparrupu (chenna dhal) 1 1/2 spoon
turmeric powder
curry leaves
garlic 2 to 3 cloves
asafoetida

PROCEDURE:
Chop the tomatoes and onions .
Take a pan pour some oil allow it to heat.
Add mustard seeds let it splutter now add asafoetida ,dry chillies ,onions and fry till they become transcluscent.
Now add some garlic and fry.
Add some tomato ,turmeric powder and salt.
Pour little water and cover the pan for about 7 to 8 mins till onions and tomatoes have completely boiled.
Now allow it to cool for some time.
Take a small mixie jar and make it into a paste.
Now your chutney is ready.
This chutney tastes delicious with Idly and Dosa
