INGREDIENTS
1 cup blanched broccoli
1 cup chopped onions
1 sliced potatoes
1 tsp urad dhal
1 tsp sambhar powder
1 tsp mustard seeds
oil
salt
some curry leaves
METHOD
BLANCHING PROCESS
Take some water allow it to boil .Once the water starts to boil add some salt and switch off the flame.Now add the broccoli and close the lid for jus 2 mins.
Now remove the veggi . This process makes the veggie to retain its natural colour even after cooking.
- Take the pan pour some oil and add mustard seeds,urad dhal ,curry leaves ,onions and fry till the onion becomes translucent
- Now add the potatoes ,little water and allow it to boil.
- Add some sambhar powder and salt.
- Add turmeric
- Once the potatoes are cooked completely add the broccoli and cook till it becomes soft.
- Serve hot with chapati or with rice
