HEALTHY MASALA PARUPPU KEERAI

Masala paruppu keerai is an excellent dish which can be used as a side dish for chapati ,dosa or even with a plain rice.

Lets see how to make this excellent recepie.

INGREDIENTS
Chopped paruppu keerai
1 big sized tomato finely chopped
1 tsp mustard
1 tsp rasam powder
1 tsp coriander powder
4 to 5 cloves of garlic
1 green chilly slit
a generous pinch of asafoetida
half spoon of turmeric powder
oil
few curry leaves
1 cup boiled toor dhal
salt

METHOD
Take a pan pour some oil add mustard seeds let it pop, now add curry leaves,garlic ,asafoetida and fry.
Add the chopped tomatoes fry till it becomes soft and mushy.
Now add the chopped keerai ,rasam powder,turmeric,coriander powder ,salt little water and allow it to boil.
Wait till all the water from the vegetable gets evaporated.
Now add the boiled dhal allow it to boil till it becomes thick.
Serve hot.
