MASAL VADAI



Ingredient
 Channa Dal  1 cup
 Rice Flour 2 tbsp
 Onion 1 finely chopped
 Coriander Leaves  chopped
 Salt little less than 1 tsp
Oil for frying
 ingredients to make paste
 Curry Leaves 10 nos
Ginger
 Fennel seeds 1 tsp
 Green Chilli 1  finely chopped

 METHOD

1. Soak the channa dal for 3 hours. Drain the water completely.
 2. Make a coarse paste of curry leaves, ginger, fennel seeds and green chilli without adding water
 3. Take the channa dal without any water in a blender and grind till it is coarsly broken. Add salt
 4.  Add the curry leaf paste  to the dhal and add rice flour, salt, finely chopped onions and finely chopped coriander leaves to this. Mix everything well.
 5. Heat oil in pan for frying.
 6. When the oil is hot take a small portion of vada roll it on to your palm and press it slightly without any cracks .
 7.Fry it in the oil and serve it hot with tea or coffee.
