Gokulashtami (meaning and celebration )

Gokulashtami is the birthday of Lord Krishna .
Lord Krishna was born on Ashtami day .He is considered as one of the Lord Vishnus most glorious incarnations.

Usually Gokulashtami is one of the favourite celebration for parents because this festival paves way to dress up our kids as Krishna or Radha wherein you can see Lord In our Childs face.  Krishna is mostly adored during his childhood times.

At home we celebrate Krishna jayanthi by preparing few traditional snacks and drawing Krishna legs all over our house .

We take riceflour paste mixed with little turmeric and draw small legs just to assume that the Lord is entering our house.

As Krishna is very fond of butter we do offer butter compulsory .
We also offer some special snacks like thenkuzhal, seedai, appam, aval payasam etc.

This year I prepared

I did pooja after six in the evening along with my family and offered these prasadams with utmost devotion.

I pray Lord to wish all the readers with all luck and fulfill their wishes make them happy.

RADHE KRISHNA !!!!!!!!
