PALAK PARUPPU DRY CURRY

Palak paruppu keerai is a dry curry which is very famous in South India.
It tastes so good with lemon rice and rasam rice.
It is one of the most healthiest dish which can be made very easily. 


Ingredients


  • Chopped palak
  • Oil 
  • Boiled and completely water squeezed toor dhal
  • Garlic 10 cloves
  • Mustard seeds
  • Urad dhal 2 tsp
  • Asafoetida
  • Red chilli 2 nos
  • Salt


Procedure


  • Take a wide bowl add the chopped palak leaves with salt and turmeric.
  • Do not add water.
  • Keep it in the cooker and cook fir 3 whistles.
  • Allow the steam to go off completely .
  • Take a pan , pour some oil add mustard seeds , urad dhal, asafoetida , curry leaves , garlic cloves and fry nicely.


  • Add the red chillies and the boiled palak leaves.
  • Allow it to cook till it leaves off the water completely. 
  • Add the boiled and the water squeezed toor dhal .
  • Mix it well and cook for few minutes.



Awesome dry palak and parrupu curry with garlic is ready to serve.
