- 1 cup basmati rice soaked in water for a minimum of 20 mins
- Ghee 2 tsp
- Shahi jeera 1 tsp
- 3 slit green chillies
- Clove 2
- Patta 1
- Bay leaf 1
- Salt
- 1 cup chopped spring onions
- 1 cup large onions chopped
- Peas
Procedure
- Take a cooker add ghee , shahi jeera , green chillies , lavang , bay leaf , clove , chopped onions and fry till it becomes brown .
- Now add spring onion leaves , peas , salt and fry for 2 mins.
- Add the soaked rice and water .
- ( 1 cup rice : 2 cups water )
- Cook the rice for 3 whistles and wait until the steam goes off completely .
- Serve hot with raita and papad .
