Yummy veggie semiya upma

 Semiya upma is a easy and a quick healthy breakfast.
Now let us see how to make this yummy semiya.
This recepie will serve two people.



INGREDIENTS

1 1/2 cup roasted semiya
1 onion
1 tomato
5 to 6  beans
1 potato
frozen peas
 half carrot
2 to 3 green chillies
asafoetida
curry leaves
mustard seeds
small piece of ginger
1 spoon urad dhal
coriander leaves
oil
turmeric


PROCEDURE
Take a pan and pour some oil allow it to heat.
Now add some mustard seeds,urad dhal,asafoetida,ginger,curry leaves and fry for 2 mins.
Add the onions fry for 2 mins and add the curry leaves, turmeric ,ginger and again fry for a minute.
Add tomatoes mix it well .
Now add the vegetables one after the other .( chopped beans,carrots,potato,peas)
Add some water salt cover the pan with a lid and allow it to boil.
Once the vegetables are boiled add water for the semiya.

WATER LEVEL FOR SEMIYA :
1 CUP SEMIYA = 1 1/2 CUP OF WATER

Here as i have taken 1 1/2 cup of roasted semiya i added 2 and a quarter cup of water .
Mix well and cover the pan with the lid.
Allow it to boil for about 5 to 6 mins
Open the lid and check wheather all the water got evaporated .
Fry till semiya leaves no water.
Garnish it with some coriander leaves.
Now serve the semiya hot with plain curd .
