Healthy sundal chat ( easy snack without FRYING)

Healthy boiled sundal chat  is one of the most easiest and delicious snack which can be prepared in a jiffy.
It is tasty and healthy as it is mixed with so many vegetables and masalas.
You can make this dish regularly instead of making so many deep frying snacks as they are so unhealthy.
Make this and enjoy with your family and kids.



INGREDIENTS NEEDED

Boiled black chenna and groundnuts
2 tomatoes chopped
2 onions chopped
1 chopped green chilly
chopped celantro
2 potatoes boiled and roughly smashed
chopped spring onions
chopped carrots
salt
red chilly powder 1 tsp
chat masala 1 tsp
pudina powder 2 tsp (If u do not have the readymade pudhina powder you can make the pudhina paste out of the pudhina leaves .)
thick curd 1 cup.

PROCEDURE

Soak the chenna for 8 hours and boil the chenna and groundnuts in the cooker with salt and turmeric.




After boiling remove the water from the chenna and ground nuts using a strainer.




Now lets see how to prepare a thick curd.
  • Take a wide bowl cover it with the clean cloth.
  • pour the curd in the cloth
  • Roll it and keep it aside for a 1 or 2
  • Now the water from the curd comes down nd the thick curd will remain inside the cloth 
  • You use the water as butter milk.

 Thick curd.


Thick curd and the water . (do not waste the water use it as butter milk)


NOTE : If you feel that making this curd a time consuming you can skip this step and can use the ordinary curd .


Now take a wide bowl.
Add spring onion leaves and onions , tomatoes and green chillies.



Now add the chopped carrots.



Add the boiled potatoes ,all the masalas mentioned along with salt ,thick curd ,celantro , chenna ground nuts and mix well using a spatula.



Serve this sundal salad or sundal chat to your family members and stay healthy .
