Masala thogayal

Masala thogayal is a combination of all the major masalas with onion and tomatoes.
It is very easy to cook and goes very well with dosa idly and even with chapathi.
It is one of the easy side dish which can be carried while travelling and it can also be stored and used for quiet a long period.



INGREDIENTS

2 onions
3 tomatoes
oil
2 spoons urad dhal
pinh of hing
chilly powder
salt
1 spoon sugar
2 cloves of garlic
pinch o grated ginger
1 spoon curry powder
grated coconut 2 spoons
mustard seeds
jeera

PROCEDURE

Take a pan heat some oil .



Add some curry leaves ,hing and urad dhal fry for some time.

Now add the chopped onions ,tomatoes ,ginger ,garlic, coconut,ajwain, baylef,lavang,patta and all the other masala powders along with the salt and sugar.




Fry this till it becomes thick .Allow it to cool down.Take a blender and make it into a fine paste.
Now again take the same pan pour some oil let it splutter add mustard seeds ,hing and the grounded paste and fry for about 6 to 7  hours.


Transfer it to a serving cup .Enjoy with dosa or chapathi.
