PUDHINA RICE


Pudhina rice or Mint pulav is an easy lunch box recipe .It is refereshing nd nutritious as well.







INGREDIENTS NEEDED

·      Pudina / Mint leaves               - 1 bunch
·      Rice                                      - 1 ½ cup
·      Green chilly                            - 1 or 2
·      Ghee                                     - 1 to 2 tbsp
·      Cashew nuts                          - 4 to 5
·      Biryani leaves                         - 2
·      Cinnamons                             - 2
·      Onion                                     -1
.      Tomato                                     -1
·      Ginger garlic paste                 - 1 tbsp
·      Red chilly pwd                        - ½ tsp
·      Lemon juice                           - 1 tsp


PROCEDURE


1.   Wash and chop mint leaves .
2.   Pressure cook  the rice and keep it seperately.
3.   Allow the cooked rice to cool to separate grains.
4.   Take a mixer  add mint leaves and green chilly make it into a fine paste.
5.   Pour  ghee in a pan and add  cashew nuts, biryani leaves, cinnamons and sauté for a minute.
6.   Add finely chopped onion and fry till transcluscent.Now add tomatoes and cook nicely till it becomes soft and juicy.
7.   Add pudina paste, ginger garlic paste, salt and red chilly powd
8. Fry them all together in low flame for 4 to 5 min
9. Now add this mixture to the cooked rice .
10. Add lemon juice to it.
11. Tasty  Pudina / Mint Rice  is ready.
