Raddish rasam is one of the most tasty and delicious rasam which is loved by my family members
My daughter just love this rasam. Unlike sambhar this rasam has a unique smell and taste.
Let us see how to make this tasty rasam.
INGREDIENTS
Chopped raddish ( boiled )
Tamarind water thick half cup
Rasam powder 2 spoons
Thoor dhal water ( boil it smash it and add water to the required consistency for making rasam )
Turmeric powder a pinch
Hing
Ghee 1 tsp
Mustard seeds
Jeera
1 red chilly dry
Curry leaves
Chopoed coriander leaves
1 large tomato
PROCEDURE
Take a thick vessel add tomatoes smash it nicely.
Now add the tamarind water, rasam powder and allow it to boil for 5 to 7 mibs till the raw smell of the tamarind goes off completely.
Now add the boiled raddish pieces and toor dhal water and allow it to boil till the orange foamy layer appers on the top of the rasam.
Add salt .
Take a tadka pan add ghee heat it.
Add mustard seeds , jeera , hing , curry leaves and garnish the rasam.
Add the chopped cilantro.
Taste with hot rice and pappad.
