Drumstick pepper poricha kootu is one of the most tasty , ethinic Tamil brahmin dish .
It is so easy to make and tastes good with rice and with tiffins.

Ingredients
Tomato 1 no chopped
Tamarind water quarter cup
Drumstick chopped
1 spoon jaggery
Boiled moong dhal
For grinding
Toordhal 1 tsp
Dhaniya 2 tsp
Red chilly 5 to 6 nos
Coconut grated 3 spoons
Curry leaves
Pepper half spoon
Jeera 1 spoon
Urad dhal 1 tsp
For seasoning
2 spoons ghee
Mustard
Jeera
Asafoetida
Procedure
Boil moog dhal with turmeric and keep it ready.
Take a pan fry all the above mentioned ingredients required for grinding and make it into a smooth paste.

Take a pan fry all the above mentioned ingredients required for grinding and make it into a smooth paste.
Now take a cooker add the drumstick pieces , tomato pieces , grinded paste , salt , tamarind water , moong dhal boiled and cook for 1 whistle .
Wait till the steam goes off completely and remove the cover check the consistency and add water if you want a liquid kootu or allow to boik if you want a thicker one.
Take a tadka pan add ghee , mustard , jeera , hing and pour it over the top of the kootu and garnidh with some celantro .
