Capsicum peas pulav with Italian seasonings

Pulav is a lighter version of biryani. It is very easy to make and tastes delicious too .
In this pulav I have added less spices and mixed some Italian seasonings for flavour and taste. 








Ingredients


  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 2 large capsicum chopped
  • Celantro chopped
  • Butter
  • 2 tsp jeera
  • Ginger garlic paste 2 tsp
  • Patta 1 piece
  • Lavang 2 nos
  • Bay leaf
  • 3 slit green chillies
  • Basil 1 tsp
  • Oregano 1 tsp
  • 2 cups of already cooked and cooled basmati rice


Procedure


  •  Take a pan put some butter.
  • Add jeera , ginger garlic paste , patta , lavang , bay leaf , green chilly , onions and fry well.





  • Now add the capsicum and cook till becomes soft .
  • Now add the peas .
  • Add the salt , basil , oregano and fry till u get the  nice aroma.
  • Now add in the cooked basmati rice .


Tip 


  • Soak the basmati rice for 20 mins and cook .
  • 1 cup rice  2 cups of  water. 
  • Cook for 2 whistles and allow it to cool down completely before u mix it in the capsicum pulav .
