Cashew and almond cookies

Cashews are one of the all time favourite nut variety for all.
When it comes to cookies it is one of the favourite snack among kids.
You can make it easy and healthy by making your own cookies in your home.
I used cashews and almond to make this cookies.
When I made this I thought I can make only very few biscuits and made dough according to that .
Later when the cookies came out as a finished product it all got finished in no time.
Again after so many requests from my baby and from my husbands friends I made a large amount of second batch of cookies.
Try this and gets yourself relished in the fine taste of cashews .




Ingredients

All purpose flour 200 gms
Vanilla essence quarter tsp
Fine sugar powder 85 gms
Butter 100 gms
Cashews and almonds chopped 
Milk 4 to 6 tsp
1 tsp baking powder

Procedure

Take a bowl seive the sugar powder and all purpose flour and keep it separately. 

Now take a bowl add butter and the fine sugar powder blend well till it becomes a smooth paste.
Now add the seived flour  to it add the baking powder and milk and blend it to make a soft dough


Now take a rolling pin and flatten the dough.
Add the  nuts and roll once again .
Adjust the sides using a scrapper or a knife.


Divide the biscuits and bake it in the preheatef oven at 180 degree centigrade for about 15 mins .
After baking remove it from the oven transfer it to a cooling rack allow it to cool for about 20 mins minimum.
Store the biscuits in a airtight container after 1 hour .


TIP :
If you want your cookies to be really crispy allow the biscuits to be in open for a minimum of one hour time and then transfer it to a air tight box.
If you transfer immediately in the air tight box there are chances that biscuits will not be crispy.
