Gothuma rava kesari

Rava kesari is one of the well known sweet which is well known by all.
This sweet gothum rava kesari or halwa is a similar version of the regular kesari with a minor changes.

It is distributed as a prasadam in ANNAVARAM SRI SATYANARAYANA TEMPLE.
It is also done during NAVARATHRI festival.

Ingredients 

1 cup broken wheat
1 or 1 and a half cup jaggery powder
Ghee
Dryfruits

Procedure
Take a pan pour 3 spoons of ghee. Add the wheat rava and fry till the aroma comes out.





Now add water ( ratio 1 cup wheat rava : 3 cups of water ) and boil in a simmer flame for 10 to 12 mins.



Once the rava is boiled completely add the jaggery and mix well till it becomes thick and does not stick to the pan.




Take a tadka pan add 2 spoons of ghee  add the cashews, dry grapes, almonds and garnish the kesari.

Serve hot.
