Pal payasam is a traditional delicacy made out of rice and milk.
When ever I make this payasam the flavour remainds me of Ambalapuzha.
It is easy to make and its a real treat for your taste buds.
Ingredients
1 cup rice
Milk
Ghee
Dry fruits
Sugar according to your preference
Procedure
Take the raw rice or basmati rice and break it roughly using blender.
Now cook the broken rice with milk in the cooker for 4 to 5 whistles.
Take a pan and pour some ghee.
Add the dry fruits and some cardomom powder . Roast till well.
Add the cooked rice and some more milk and boil in a medium flame till it becomes thick .
USUALLY IT WILL NOT TAKE MORE THAN 5 MINS.
Your payasam is ready to enjoy.
