Strawberry Apple Juice

Apple Strawberry juice is one of the most famous refreshing drink .
It is super quick and healthy to make .




Ingredients


8 strawberries chopped
1 apple chopped 
Sugar
Milk
Cream ( optional  ) 

Procedure

Take a blender add all the above ingredients and then make it into a rich juice .

Serve chilled .

spring onions and peas pulav

Spring onion pulav is a simple dish but it is very flavourful . Spring onions are very low in calories and has essential vitamins .


Ingredients 


  • 1 cup basmati rice soaked in water for a minimum of 20 mins
  • Ghee 2 tsp
  • Shahi jeera 1 tsp
  • 3 slit green chillies
  • Clove 2
  • Patta 1 
  • Bay leaf 1
  • Salt
  • 1 cup chopped spring onions
  • 1 cup large onions chopped
  • Peas


Procedure


  • Take a cooker add ghee , shahi jeera , green chillies , lavang , bay leaf , clove , chopped onions and fry till it becomes brown .
  • Now add spring onion leaves , peas , salt and fry for 2 mins. 
  • Add the soaked rice and water .
  • ( 1 cup rice : 2 cups water ) 
  • Cook the rice for 3 whistles and wait until the steam goes off completely .
  • Serve hot with raita and papad .

Pineapple rasam

Pineapple rasam is a special variety of rasam. 
It has a unique taste and its worth trying out this rasam .


Ingredients 

Half cup of tamrind pulp
1 cup pine apple puree
Few chopped pineapple pieces
2 spoons rasam powder
Salt
1 large chopped tomato
Salt
Ghee
Mustrd
Jeera
Celantro and few curry leaves. 
Boiled Toor dhal water
Sugar 1 tsp

Procedure

Take a vessel add tamarind pulp , , tomato paste , , rasam powder , salt curry leaves and allow it to boil for 5 mins .

Now add the pineapple paste and pieces and again boil for 5 mins.

Add salt and sugar. 

Now add the dhal water and allow it to boil till the foamy layer appears .

Now take a tadka pan add ghee , mustard , jeera and allow to splutter .

Add this to the rasam garnish with celantro .

Serve hot .

Masala Veg Khichidi

Delicious wholesome khichidi is made out of dhal , rice and fresh cut vegetables. 
It is a true one pot meal with an amazing taste. 


Ingredients

1 cup basmati rice 
1 cup dhal
1 cup mixed vegetable
Garam masala 2 tsp
Salt
Chilly powder 2 tsp
Salt
Ghee
Green chillies 3 nos
Tomatoes
Jeera

Procedure

Take a cooker add ghee jeera , green chillies , tomatoes fry and add all the masala powders with salt. 

Now add all the vegetables and give a quick mix and cook the vegetables for 3 whistles. 

In a separate bowl cook rice and dhal.

Now mix the rice dhal muxture to the mixed vegetables and sone celantro
 .

Serve hit with papads.

Medhu vadai

Medhu vadai is one of the delicious snack of South India . Medhu vadai are my all time favourite and loves to eat it anytime with coconut chutney .



Ingredients needed

Urad dhal 1 cup
Raw rice 1 tsp
Green chillies 3 to 4
1 tsp ginger paste
1 onion chopped
Curry leaves
Salt
Oil

Procedure

Soak the urad dhal and rice for one hour.Take a blender make it into a fine paste just sprinkle water if needed .



Take a small cup if water keep it aside dip your hands in water first and take off the excess water .

Now take the batter like this. 


Using your thumb make a small hole.


Heat the oil and fry the vadas.


Once it becomes golden brown remove it from the pan .

Rava payasam

Sooji kheer or Rava payasam is one of the delicious Rava recepies. It is one of the delicious and easy to make dessert for any occasion .


Ingredients

Quarter cup rava
1 cup coconut milk
2 cups plain milk
Sugar 
Cardomom powder
Ghee
Dry fruits and nuts

Procedure

Takea heavy bottom vessels pour some ghee fry nuts and keep it aside. 


In the same pan add rava and fry till nice aroma comes out of it.
Keep it separately. 



 Add  plain milk and allow it to boil , now drop in the rava slowly and cook in the medium flame. 



Now add in the sugar , dry fruits and atlast add sone coconut milk and just boil for 2 mins .

Do not boil coconut milk for a long time .


If you do not have coconut milk u can very well use regular milk.

Chpathi ladoos

Chapathi ladoo or Churm ladoo is an INDIAN sweet usually prepared during festivals .
It is one of the most famous sweet of Rajasthan and is usually offered as prasadam. 





Ingredients 

Chapathi 8 to 10 nos
Jaggery powder minimum 1 cup .
You can very well alter the jaggery powder amount as per your wish .
You can either increase or decrease. 
2 to 3 tsp honey
Cardomom powder
Nuts chopped
Ghee 3 tsp

PROCEDURE

Take the chapathis , tear it put it in a blender and make it into a fine powder. 


Now add the jaggery powder and again blend it. 

 Transfer the dry mixture into a wide bowl. 
Add in ghee and honey.


Mix it well and make it into a round balls.

5 mins diabetic friendly milk burfi

Burfi is a instant dish with milk.
It is onevof the most delicious mouth melting milk fudge. It is a traditional Indian sweet and it is also called as " milk cake ".








Ingredients

Relish no calories sugae free powder 1 cup
1 cup milk powder
Ghee 4 tsp




Procedure

Take a wide pan add ghee sugar free powder  water and allow it to boil. 



 Once you get 1 string consistency allow it to boil.

 Now add in the milk powder and mix gently on a slow flame.


Grease a plate with ghee and put the mixture into it and allow it to cool down for a minimum of one hour so that it will become thick .


Now make it into your desired shape pieces and enjoy your dessert.

Aloo Palak Rice

Aloo Palak pulav is a delicious dish served as a main course. 
It is an excellent rice preparation with the excellent benefits of palak .



Ingredients

Cooked and cooled basmati rice
Chopped potatoes
Chopped palak
Turmeric powder a pinch
Red chilli powder 2 tsp
1 tsp garam masala
Salt
Ghee
Jeera

Procedure

Take bowl put the chopped palak leaves with only salt and turmeric .
Do not add water.
Keep the vessel in the cooker and cook for 3 whistles. 
Allow it to cool down. 
Remove the vessel and keep it aside. 

Now take a non stick vessel add ghee , jeera, turmeric powder , red chilli powder , garam masala powder and cook the potatoes completely till it is soft and roasted.




Now add the cooked palak leaves and fry till all the water is evaporated completely .



Add the cooked rice mix gently and serve with raita.

Marie biscuits chocolate ladoo

Marie biscuit chocolaty ladoo is one of the easy to make dessert for any occasion. 

I personally think that it is not really important to spend too much of time to make sweets for festival to get a nice taste , instead try out this dessert which requires only little time and effort to make but believe me it will always be a hit as it tastes amazing. 

It is one of the most famous kids recepie too. 



 Ingredients 

Powdered marie biscuits
Condensed milk
Ghee
Nuts chopped
Cocoa powder
Some jeera chocolate or desicated coconut for decoration ( its purely optional )

Procedure

Take a wide bowl  add all the marie biscuits powder , cocoa powder , nuts and mix well.


Now add the condensed milk slowly .
Add ghee .


Make it into a tight dough.


Now make it into small balls. 


Your ladoos are ready to serve. 
If desired you can decorate it.
Take a ladoo roll it over the condensed milk and now roll it over tge dry coconut powder or some jeera candys as per your choice.
